I think you should still have to do the work. I am not against the requirements as they stand. For example if someone plays dragonfire all of the time and likes ascending outfits, I'm sure they would be tempted to get both fire and toxic ascending outfits if they leveled up whenever the appropriate damage occurred once owned. If you grind out 300k damage after getting the anniversary skin, who cares if you wore it every game. Make the outfit quests like other challenges that increment regardless of what you wear. I'm sure they would sell more skins if they leveled up once owned. I would like to pick up Death Incarnate, but why if I won't get to wear it in favor of the anniversary skin for 2 months. So having said that, I don't know about you guys but 45k damage to upgrade a skin I bought is extremely grindy even if the skin is really cool, at first I thought only the first tier would require that, thinking that the next tiers would require kills or wins in certain gamemodes, instead I was met with 67k damage for the next tier. I had faith in this games potential since the beginning loved the concept of mage BR with different elements and combos between them, I knew there could be great skins and designs they could implement in the future hence why I chose to be a founder back in the day.
